Becoming a Member
Documents for Registration
Candidates must supply BCAOMP with the following documentation
- A face picture (PNG or JPEG) of you recent,
- Confirmation of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or authorization under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) to practice the profession; A copy of your BC Driver’s license or BC Care card,
- Completed application form,
- Membership annual registration fee of $250 (non-refundable)
- A copy of your liability/malpractice insurance policy (valid for one
complete year). - A copy of your First Aid – CPR C and AED (valid with expiration, theory
and hands on component). - Your official transcript from your graduation school – A PDF document
stamped by the school and mentioning you have completed the program in
good standing with your final grades. - Your Degree, Diploma official document you have received from your
school – A PDF document stamped by the school mentioning the name of the
program and the date of graduation with the official signatures from the
school administration as well registrar.

BCAOMP will review all your documents.
You will receive an activation/registration email.
You will register and pay the required amount.
You will receive a confirmation email.
Then you can log in and complete your profile
A major responsibility of the British Columbia Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (BCAOMP) is to ensure that all applicants meet the requirements of registration and to issue certificates of registration to those applicants who meet the requirements of registration.
Candidates are responsible for paying the following fees when applying for a General (ie. active) class of license with BCAOMP: Application Fee, including first year membership license: $250 Annual Registration Fee per Year: $250 Membership renewal for all members is due August 31st of each year.
